Need:
The client was building a new warehouse, and required
the modular manufacturing of various interior offices
to be used within the overall warehouse building.
Building
Size:
Five various
offices: 34' x 80' two storey; 36' x 84' two storey; 18'
x 20' single storey; 17' x 20' single storey; 12' x 12'
single storey.
Time
to Complete:
From start of production to delivery to site, 6 weeks.
Project
Outline:
The offices had to be designed and
built to fit around the existing warehouse concrete
pillars, and had to conform to the Department of Supply
and Services specific needs for each office.
The 5 offices were shipped to Alberta
in knockdown form and were assembled on site by NRB
crews. Some unique feature of the panelized offices
include: Melamine wall cladding both inside and out;
6" x 6" steel posts for mezzanine support;
and sprinkler systems installed within each of the 5
office buildings.
