| Project
Summary #035028: |
| MRI
Imaging Clinic, North Little Rock, Arkansas. |
| Client
Need: |
| The
client required an innovative solution to an awkward site
layout when building this MRI facility.
|
| Building
Size: |
| 7,396 square
feet.
|
| Time
to Complete: |
| From start of production to shipment to site, 8 weeks. |
| Project
Outline: |
|
The awkward site layout proved a
challenge to conventional site construction, as the property fell away gradually on one side. When the
unusual grading of the land was factored into the design
and construction of the building, the result was that
one part of the building would be site built while the
other part would feature modular construction.
NRB constructed the 7,396
square foot steel and concrete modular portion at the
NRB plant, then shipped to the site. Site restrictions
required the use of a large crane to offload the modules,
which were assembled on site, after which NRB installed
the glass curtain wall system.
