In conjunction with the Buffalo Fort
Erie Peace Bridge Authority and Customs Canada, Canada
Kiosk - an NRB company specializing in security, control
and access-related solutions - designed 14 specialized
inspection booths to exacting specifications. These
booths were designed with the specific intent to maximize
the comfort of the Customs Officer.
Features include welded steel frame
construction, and green-tinted reflective glazing to
minimize glare. A retractable green-tinted acrylic windbreak
protects Customs Officers, and there is an exterior
mounted radiant heater over the windows. The slider
door features a full-lite slider window, providing flexibility
of communication through the window with an easy exit
from the booth to conduct inspections. There is a stainless
steel work counter and storage drawer.
