The modular industry got a boost recently with the publication of a study showing that modular construction can be faster, cheaper and safer than conventional on-site construction.
The new MRI facility is a modular building nestled into the University of Virginia Medical Center. The building was created off-site in Pennsylvania by a company called NRB. It was then shipped in chunks to Charlottesville where it was installed.

NRB’s Bob McNeil, President & General Manager, returned to his alma mater Niagara College on June 17th to address the graduates from the School of Technology & School of Trades.
