PC2000

Clean, Lean and Green! Our PC2000 scores A+ for sustainability and efficiency.

Features and Benefits:

  • Recycled steel – structural and light gauge framing for a durable, cellulose-free structure.
  • Non-combustible construction allows more flexibility in locating classrooms closer together on a school site so valuable playground, sports field or parking areas are not lost. Classrooms can be easily complexed with central corridors, and attached to existing schools with our link structures.
  • Polyiso rigid insulation and vapor barrier continuously applied over the exterior of walls and roof provide superior, uninterrupted thermal and moisture protection, effectively moving the “dew point” and any related condensation problems away from the interior of the wall and roof cavity.
  • Open wall and roof cavities allow for easy access of wire and cables.
  • Optimal flashing details help prevent water intrusion
  • Cellulose materials and significantly reduced, limiting the nutrient base for mold spores
  • Interior finish is a “paperless” vinyl covered drywall that does not support the growth of mold. It is also raised up on a ¾” recycled plastic strip to help prevent any potential wicking of water should moisture become present.
  • All standard HVAC units have the essential heating and fresh-air ventilation capacity, plus air conditioning to help control relative humidity levels. C02 sensors are provided to regulate ventilation based on occupancy for better energy savings and improved air quality.
  • Classroom acoustics are improved with additional insulated ductwork to lower distributed air volumes that can cause unwanted noise.
  • Energy management systems, daylighting, vestibules, walk-off mats, interior and exterior lighting control systems, plus many more features, finishes or green options are all available if you would like to customize to suit your needs.

PC2000 design technology can be applied to most any type of building application – from cafeterias to daycare centers, medical buildings to office space.
