Working with the client, a long-term, strategy to pre-build a number of store modules in the off-season was developed to ensure an added edge in quick store openings when sites are available. As this client works on multiple projects and site locations, NRB established base models to work from which will fit a variety of appropriate sites. Using these, the client is able to pre-order buildings during the off-season for traditional site construction. They are pre-built at the NRB plant and ready for delivery in early spring, while the planning and permitting process occurs over the winter to eliminate any construction hold-ups.

To better suit the residential surroundings of the site an alteration was needed to the standard store design. Keeping the basic NRB 5000 Series steel and concrete structure, the standard design was modified to a red brick exterior version with high stucco parapets. The inside offerings remain the same, featuring a coffee centre, sandwich counter and retail space, all within a spacious, clean and inviting environment. As well, the floor to ceiling storefront glass and parking space provides an invitation into the store from its gas offering.
