The location for the school was a very tight urban space. 60,000 sq. ft. of permanent modular construction provides classrooms, offices and media centers, and 38,000 sq. ft. of site built structure houses the gym, cafeteria and mechanical spaces, all placed over an underground parking garage. In honour of MBI's 25th anniversary, Hall of Fame recipients were invited as guests of MBI to participate in the event. NRB founders, Bob and Jean McNeil, were recognized once again as Hall of Fame Inductees at the 2008 MBI Awards of Distinction in Bonita Springs, Florida. Bob & Jean were inducted into the Modular Building Institute (MBI) Hall of Fame in July 2003 and recognized for their lifetime achievements influencing the growth and success of the modular building industry.

The NRB/Triumph Modular/ARC collaboration that took first place in the Montgomery County Public Schools Portable Classroom Design challenge - went on to win once again, an outstanding BEST IN SHOW at the Annual Awards of Distinction in March, 2007 from the Modular Building Institute (MBI) in the Green Classroom Design category. Modular School Award

The Reading School District welcomes 2 new Magnet Schools
NRB received the Second Place, Honorable Mention award at the March 2007 MBI Awards of Distinction in Carslbad, CA in the "Permanent Educational Facilities" category for buildings over 10,000 square feet. This 24,000 square foot modular school was designed using steel and concrete construction that gave the Reading School District the flexibility and speed of the modular construction process as well as the funding it required that is only available for permanent school construction. (Grimsby, Ontario and Ephrata, PA); and Architectural Resource Cambridge (Cambridge, MA), has combined to win the national Portable Classroom Design Challenge sponsored by The School District of Montgomery County, MD.
